Local Rules
TEMPORARY LOCAL RULES

  • Artificial Measuring Devices
    Artificial measuring devices such as GPS, distance finders etc. are permitted to be used during competition play at BMGC.

  • Protective Ropes & Hoops
    All protective ropes, poles holding ropes and hoops are treated as immovable obstructions and relief may be taken in accordance with Rule 24-2. If a ball strikes the Protective Ropes, the Holding Poles or the Hoops the stroke must be cancelled and replayed without penalty (See Rule 20-5).

  • Nursery Area
    The nursery area on the 14th hole marked with white stakes is to be treated as GUR and relief MUST be taken in accordance with Rule 25-1.

  • 4th & 7th Holes (New Septic Works)
    All New Septic work located on the 4th & 7th holes is to be treated as GUR and relief MAY be taken in accordance with Rule 25-1. If a ball, the player's stance or area of intended swing interferes, the player MAY lift and drop without penalty within ONE club length not nearer the hole from the nearest point of relief.

  • Stone Wash
    All stone wash from paths is to be treated as GUR and relief MAY be taken in accordance with Rule 25-1. If a ball, the player's stance or area of intended swing interferes, the player MAY lift and drop without penalty within ONE club length not nearer the hole from the nearest point of relief.
